How it all began In high school Dr. Viehbeck started getting headaches from playing football. He suffered the pain and frustration of it for years until a friend suggested he go to a chiropractor. Since other pain relief methods hadn't worked, he decided to give it a try. After only two visits, Dr. Viehbeck felt better than he ever had before. It was there in the waiting room after just his second visit, that he knew he wanted to become a chiropractor!
During high school Dr. Viehbeck not only knew his chosen career path, he had also met the girl of his dreams. During Economics class his Senior year he was teamed up with a classmate, Kelly, for a project. Shortly after, he gathered the courage to ask her to the prom and they have been inseparable ever since. They dated through high school and college at Texas State University in San Marcos and were married in 2004. The beginning of the futureAfter undergraduate college, Dr. Viehbeck attended Parker College of Chiropractic. He was very impressed with its great reputation and he fell in love with the city of Dallas. His favorite subjects were nutrition, diagnostic x-ray, and he especially enjoyed learning to adjust patients. Ever since high school Dr. Viehbeck had been dreaming about owning his own practice. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in August 2008. ![]() Shortly after graduation, Dr. Viehbeck and Kelly went to dinner at P.F. Chang's at Watters Creek in Allen and were impressed with the progressive culture of the area. Within a month they signed the contract to locate their first office in Allen. In January of 2010 they opened the doors of their new office located on Watters Road just north of the Watters Creek Shopping Center. Dr. Viehbeck says one of his favorite aspects of owning his own practice is being able to interact with his patients and subsequently getting to know them. "It is an indescribable feeling when a patient fully commits to changing their health and we see great physical, mental and emotional changes as a result," says Dr. Viehbeck.
Dr. Viehbeck has a unique combination of professional skills and an intuitive way of healing people. Dr Viehbeck provides a comprehensive understanding of the benefits of his profession by "Getting a patient out of pain is my primary goal, but finding the cause or root of the problem is what makes the difference. When you address the cause of pain, you can eliminate the symptoms all together." Dr. Viehbeck's approach to chiropractic is not a "quick fix" but rather a systematic approach to long term healing. "We give patients the tools they need to maintain healthy spines for the rest of their lives." |
